Main topics of the Meeting

PVM (Parallel Virtual Machine) and MPI (Message Passing Interface) are the most frequently used tools for parallel programming according to the message-passing paradigm.

The first three Conferences of this series were devoted to PVM and they were held at the University of Rome, Italy (1994), at the ENS Lyon, France (1995), and at the TU Muenchen, Germany (1996).

The Fourth European PVM - MPI User's Group Meeting will be a forum for users and developers of PVM, MPI and other message-passing programming environments.

We would like to enable PVM and MPI users to meet each other in 1997, share ideas and experiences, and meet members of the PVM and MPI teams.
