The exhibition of Near and Far Eastern art occupies the west wing of the castle. Here are displayed textiles, ceramics as well as arms and armour and other items of metalwork. The most precious of them is a group of six 17^th century Turkish tents, unfortunately in a very bad condition; they are now being subjected to preservation treatment. Among extremely rare exhibits are five large Turkish banners displayed in special cases under the ceiling.
