The art collection of over four thousand items consists of several interesting sets. Two are permantently on display: the Zakopane Style collection in the Koliba House and the collection of works by Władysław Hasior in a gallery in Jagiellońska Street in Zakopane. Other sets are presented at temporal exhibitions.
The largest and most representative collection consists of several hundred paintings on Tatra subjects created since the mid-19th century by, among others, Walery Eljasz Radzikowski, Alfred Schouppe, Stanisław Gałek, Aleksander Mroczkowski, and Stanisław Kamocki.
Of much value to the history of Zakopane is a set of Kazimierz Sichulski's caricatures including fifty large colour drawings created in Zakopane in 1914-1918. The caricatures represent famous people, actors, writers, poets, painters, musicians and politicians who visited the capital of the Tatra Mts or lived in Zakopane in the years of World War I. Sichulski's sitters included Jerzy Żuławski, Ignacy Daszyński, Tadeusz Miciński, Józef Piłsudski and many others.
The rich and varied collection of prints, depicting the beauty of the Tatra landscape and the local people includes works by Leon Wyczółkowski, Jan Rembowski and Antoni Kenar.
An important set of works consists of portraits of famous people, well-known Poles, great artists and local people with, e.g. Dr Tytus Chałubiński, Stanisław Witkiewicz (portrayed by Jacek Malczewski) and Jan Krzeptowski Sabała. The set also includes paster portraits by Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz (Witkacy).
Also interesting is the sculpture collection including works by artists like Wojciech Brzega and Stanisław G±sienica Sobczak and, of the contemporary ones, Antoni Rz±sa and Grzegorz Pecuch.
