Field(s) of research & interest, ongoing projects

I am interested in historical demography, especially in mortality and morbidity in 19-20th century Galicia (south part of Poland). I have made researches on human population in Lvov (Lwów, Lemberg) 1857-1939, concerning births and mortality in many aspects (i.e. age, sex, religion groups, seasonality etc.). My last project covers the field of elementar disasters and climatic reason of epidemics in Poland in the 19th century.
